Denim jackets are one of those items that are a classic yet versatile piece of clothing, that can be suitable for all season round. As a advocate of the denim jacket (I own/hoard various colours/styles/types) I knew this Honey + Chai "Elsie" version had to be mine. I love how it is like an modern update on the classic with the floral embroidery and raw frayed edges, but still keeping to that classic style. The pale wash (for me) is a nice alternative, as its fair to say that as a devotee of dark wash clothing this version adds a different element and contrast to my outfits.
Also Honey + Chai are kindly offering 10% off for readers of Stylepeaches, all you have to do is enter "STYLEPEACHES" at the checkout!

I have to admit I have a fond love of clothes with rips, holes and anything that looks like it shouldn't be there. As although some might despise the look of accidentally-on-purpose ripped jeans and a t-shirt that looks as though it was a moths breakfast. Theres a quality to these types of pieces that I adore, almost as though it has the "lived in look" down to a t. Even if they didn't have that 'look' beforehand, for example not too long ago these jeans had a 'rip-less' aesthetic which I quickly got bored with so I decided to tear a couple of rips at the knee. It should really be called the "cold knee" trend to be fair, as they're not the most practical for sub zero temperatures.

Velvet is one of my favourite fabrics to style as it has a certain 70s aesthetic that I adore. So when I came across this velvet "rust" shirt from Shein I knew it had to be mine, purely for the reason being that I could style it with my beloved velvet flared trousers. Creating a velvet on velvet combo with skinny scarf in tow. Needless to say looking like an "Almost Famous" cast extra has been recent go-to of mine.

When it comes to hair colour long-time readers will be fully aware of my ever changing locks, in fact I think I have near enough documented every colour under the sun on this blog. Whether it was when I was going through my acid pink stage and wearing everything Kawaii to match to that purple haze stage which inspired my grunge style, and eventually led me to do a complete 360 and go platinum blonde (with a now silvery lilac hue-to be revealed). However sometimes you just want to try out a hair colour for a couple of days to see whether it suits your fancy, without making a month long (or longer) commitment.
That's where the new Schwarzkopf LIVE Pastel Sprays come in. Available in 4 on-trend colours: "Cotton Candy", "Mint Green", "Apricot Sunrise" and "Icy Blue" which last up to 3 washes. What surprised me about this product was how EASY it was to use, you literally spray it onto towel-dried or dry hair, blot away the excess, comb through for even distribution and then blow-dry to finish. And after a few washes (4-5, my hair is pretty bleached) my hair was back to normal. They are even a fun product to try out if you want to experiment with different coloured dip-dye, as you could even create a rainbow inspired look, using all 4 sprays.

A simple combo gracing the blog today as I was having a casual Sunday, so I chose to keep my outfit warm and cosy but still have that "put-together" feel. With that in mind I decided to layer some of my favourite pieces, such as this cardigan and t-shirt together. One way which I've been styling a lot of my oversized tees is with a pair of thigh-high boots, as I love how the boots can add a sophisticated touch. Especially with also how the cardigan adds an injection of 90s grunge to the whole look.

If you follow me on either Instagram or Twitter than you'll probably recognise these shiny metallic boots, that I picked up from Primark which I've been raving about on both platforms. The main reason being that they were my first bargain buy of 2017, being only priced at £5. Secondly I have longed for a pair of silver boots for far too long as, as a lover of the all-black outfit a pair of metallic boots can add something 'unexpected' to the look in tow. Needless to say I have been channeling my inner Ziggy Stardust ever since.

I love how this time of the year brings out the warmer tones in the evening sky making you feel as though you are thousands of miles away in an exotic country, whereas in fact you're in chilly Britain wrapped in faux fur. These photos were taken just a couple days after the Christmas day and as festive eating was in full swing, comfort was key with my choice of outfits.
