The other weekend we popped over to Olympia to attend the Accoustic Guitar Show and see Nile Rodgers (guitar LEGEND) give a talk-if you don't know who he is then google him (I urge you) and you'll see that he's responsible for some of the iconic songs of all time. He spoke about a variation of topics, from meeting David Bowie in a club to working with Daft Punk on their ever-so famous "Get Lucky" record.
For the occasion I decided to 'don' this boohoo skirt, which is a part of a co-ord I purchased a while back, as I wanted to style a statement piece of clothing with a couple of classic pieces. It seems as though that M&S is the place to go to buy those roll-necks at the moment, with a range of autumn/winter colours that immediately wants me to own all of them. They are also extremely soft and comfortable to wear. My current go-to outfit for styling such an item has to be paired with some black high waisted jeans and a leather jacket, for an ultimate "Beatnik" inspired outfit. In fact dressing like Andy Warhol has become a thing of mine as of late-minus the "wigs" of course.
