OGX Hydrating Macadamia Dry Styling Oil Review

OGX Hydrating Macadamia Dry Styling Oil* - Available at supermarkets nationwide £6.99

The OGX Hydrating Macadamia Dry Styling Oil has been a life saver when it comes to keeping my (newly) golden locks moisturised and shiny.  Enriched with rich macadamia oil to help hydrate and smooth dry hair. In addition to containing sugar cane extract (exotic!) and bamboo extract to soften and mend ones' split ends. The days of having dry hair have banished, since I've started using this.
The smell is once again amazing with its spicy sugar scent, whisking you away instantly to somewhere hot and exotic - so a girl can only dream.

I tend to apply the oil to freshly shampooed, towel dried hair - to really nourish the ends. Then once it's blow-dried I apply another 50p size amount (a little goes a long way) for added shine, and also to calm down any crazy unruly ends- without making it feel like it's 'weighing' down my hair nor feel greasy. The product is a must-have for those looking for a product to rescue their lacklustre locks.

There are those occasional times, when out on the look out for places to shoot outfit photos, where you come across something quite surreal looking and picturesque. In fact that's exactly what happened when we went for a Easter walk over the weekend. Nestled behind the wooded trees and forest scenery, we came across hundreds of bluebells- which seemed to be endless. Despite being in bloom for only a short amount of time. I felt the need to not only admire, but capture their beauty and striking colour. There really is something quite majestic about the way they're captured on camera. But yet it was only a matter of chance that we came across them- a coincidence perhaps?

P.S. There's still time to nominate 'Stylepeaches' for 'Best Personal Style Blog'- here, at The Company Style Blogger Awards. Thank you so much, again, if you do!

When a email popped into my inbox about a pastel themed competition StyleFruits were holding, it was one I simply couldn't resist entering. With killer prizes to be won. Hello... Michael Kors (dream shade of) blue bag, Marc Jacobs Purse and candy-coloured Ray-ban Sunnies. How could I not enter?!

As a self proclaimed 'pastel-addict' and regular 'ice-cream colour' wearer- yep looking like a 'neapolitan' has become a specialty of mine. I dug out some of my favourite pastel coloured pieces, from the 'archives', to style my very own "Pastel Me Pretty" outfit.
For the occasion, out came this asos 'prom style' dress, which has that 50's retro vibe that I adore. Despite the sunny weather, it was still pretty cold (and windy), so I decided to pop on this gorgeous shade of blue jumper- a similar shade to that Michael Kors bag, over the shoulders for a easy 'effortless' cover-up. As this whole outfit screamed 50's, I simply couldn't resist topping the look off with those cat-eye sunglasses. Which if you can tell, from looking at my previous outfit posts, have become my preferred choice of eye-wear as of late. I just can't resist those mirrored lenses and pale pink frames.

Don't forget you can vote for my look here, as I would really appreciate all your votes!

P.S .The Company Style Blogger Awards are now in full swing, and it would mean the world to me if you enjoy reading my blog and would nominate me for the 'Best Personal Style Blog' hereThank you so much, again, if you do!

OGX Tea Tree Mint Shampoo & Conditioner Review

OGX Hydrating Teatree Mint Shampoo (link)* & Conditioner (link)* available exclusively at Waitrose- £6.99 each
OGX are a haircare brand that create products inspired by nature, using active ingredients sourced from all around the world, that are also paraben free and not tested on animals. Ever since 'going blonde' I've been on the look out for products that add moisture and shine to my hair, as it's fair to say that bleaching has slightly dried it out.

That's where these awesome products come in, with their three-in-one moisturising treatments. Whaaa... three?! I hear you say. Well the Australian tea tree oil adds moisture and strength, whilst the replenishing milk proteins nourish your hair. Not forgetting the peppermint oil offering an extra boost of hydration. Transforming ones hair into super smooth, luscious locks, in a matter of a few washes. Sounds good-right!?

First off the smell is pretty incredible, with its fragrant scent of peppermint and tea tree, almost resembling a mint chocolate-chip ice cream. As well as acting as an immediate 'wake-me-up' for those mornings when your struggling to keep your eyes open, because sometimes the caffeine hasn't quite kicked in yet.

Hair texture wise I have noticed a slight difference to my locks feeling a whole lot more nourished and moisturised, as well as feeling silky smooth! Despite the short amount of time,  I've been using them both, I'm already seeing the results.
At £6.99 you can't really go wrong with a product that gives your hair that much needed TLC, as well as doubling up as a refreshing 'wake-me-up' scent. Washing your hair has never felt nor smelt so good.

Manuka Doctor Age-Defying Eye Cream & Revitalising Day Cream Review

1manukadr copy
Manuka Doctor are a affordable skincare brand known to promote natures powerful ingredients, in order to create products that are naturally good for you. For me when it comes to skincare, or any products that reach my face, I tend to go for the 'kinder to skin' ranges or ones inspired by nature.

Manuka are also know for using one key ingredient, that being of 'Manuka Honey'- where no bees have been harmed, in the making of these products. The reason why they use Bee Venom and Manuka Honey (from New Zealand) is because of how both are well known for their skincare benefits, as well as the Venom promoting your skin's elasticity. Clever-eh?!

Manuka Doctor Age-Defying Eye Cream (link)*
The "Age-Defying Eye Cream" claims to help reduce the appearance of those ever-so pesky dark circles, 'nourish and restore' your skins softness, refine the appearance of wrinkles as well as reveal a smoother looking complexion.

First off the packaging is pretty nifty, with its easy to use squeeze tube and nozzle, in addition to its make-up bag friendly size, it seems to tick all the right boxes. I've actually started to incorporate this product into my skin care regime. As for the short amount of time I've been using it, it has made a slight difference in making my skin seem smoother and hydrated.

I also have discovered that if I apply this product before my make up, my under eye concealer seems to apply smoother and crease less throughout the day. *Double brownie points.* Nor does it feel 'heavy' on the skin, as it absorbs in matter of minutes due to its 'light- gel' like consistency. Lets just say after using this, I'm a eye-cream convert.

Revitalising Day Cream SPF15 (link)*
Last up is the "Revitalising Day Cream" which contains that all important SPF 15, to protect your skin throughout the day. The product claims to have a "age-defying" formula, "nourish" and "restore" the skins softness, "refine" the appearance of wrinkles, "brighten" skins appearance, as well as being enriched with ingredients to "hydrate" and "energise" your skin.

For a small tub of cream it has a lot of claims. Despite using it for a short amount of time, it has indeed lived up to some of these claims. As a oily skin gal' I tend to use this product on the dryer areas of my face i.e. forehead and neck. Hydration and smoothness wise I have seen a slight improvement to the texture of these areas, especially (again) with the application of my foundation- almost seamlessly applying to ones' skin. Saying this, due to how the product seems to 'absorb' into my skin, with (very) little left over residue, my make up hasn't quite 'slid' off my face yet.  Which is an added bonus as no girl wishes for that to happen.
